So I walk in from work today to find my hubby hanging pictures and other home decor in our house. He went and bought a beautiful painting for the living room with candles on both sides. Cute "modern" decor for the mantle, a wrought-iron piece also in the living room, a painting and candles for the kitchen. Man, he really is amazing. I was very impressed with the stuff he picked out. It really made our house a home... :)
My little guy takes after his daddy so much! He's so caring and funny and truly an awesome little person. He was napping when I got home but soon woke up and ate some Nobi asian food with us. He then wanted ice cream AND candy... definitely his daddy's boy. Then he "helped" me finish up the nursery letters for my baby cousin and is now watching Kai-Lan in my room. I occasionally hear him laugh really loud or yell at the TV...again, his daddy's boy.
I wonder daily how I got so lucky to have such amazing guys in my life. I don't know where I'd be if they weren't here with me everyday. I seriously feel like the luckiest girl alive that I get to wake up to both of them everyday.

busy busy times
OK, I need to get back in the habit of writing more often... It's been a couple weeks and I've been a busy girl. :)
I am about 3/4 of the way finished with my Christmas shopping and SO stoked about that! I hope that this is the beginning of many many years that I get the majority of it done before December even starts! It's kind-of a releif to have so much done already.
I worked an auction today (my uncle works for an auction company that has a HUGE warehouse auction once a month) and I'm EXHAUSTED!!! The past auctions I've worked, I've clerked- wrote which bidder won what and for how much- and today I moved into the office to register and check out people. I thought this would have been easier work, but no such luck! The actual duties are right up my alley- organization and such, but I was there for over 12 hours and on my feet the majority of the time. It was mentally draining too- with all the people argueing and then trying to collect the money.
We're having some friends we haven't seen in a while over for football tomorrow and I'm excited to see them again.
Enough for now, I'm hitting the sack.

I'm starting to slack...
OK, so it's been over a week since my last post, sorry guys, I've been slacking. With working 2 jobs and trying to keep the house in order, it's hard to find time to write.
We had a fun halloween- Matt and I went to a friend's halloween party. I went as a pirate and he went as a priest with a boner.... It sounds gross, but was TOO FUNNY! We had a really good time with our friends- playing beer pong and having fun. Mason was at his daycare's halloween party and had a really good time. I also decided to lay off the alcohol becasue I drank WAY too much! I hate when I get that drunk because mostly I act like a jack ass.
On Sunday, we took Mason trick or treating with my brother Joe and my parents. They had a really good time and got some really good candy. It was fun to watch him say trick or treat and thank you and enjoy himself.
I'm looking forward to getting my Christmas shopping started now that it's November.
