Where to start?

Well, I have been debating for awhile now whether to try this blog thing again... I have decided I'm at a point that I am ready to give it another shot. But where to start??

I figure I'll start off by saying a few things about myself and my family...
I'm Katie- a happily married mom. My husband, Matt, and I have been married almost 3 years now... Man, time flies! Our anniversary is December 22, 2007. He is definitely my soul mate and best friend. We have a son, Mason James, born April 2nd, 2008. He is adorable and happy. He's very smart, loving and loves to play, sing, read books, color- you know, normal 2 1/2 year old boy stuff. We have a husky mix, Kelsey who we got a few months ago. She is the best dog ever and is already BFFs with Mason.




We moved into a house in June- 3 streets away from my parents! We love living so close to my family and we get to see my siblings- Brittany (17), Jamie (13) and Joseph (5) more often. My sister Brittany is a senior this year, and co-captain of her cheer team. I love watching her cheer at football games and it makes me miss my cheerleading days! Jamie is a competitive gymnast and is growing up so fast it scares me! Both of my sisters are gorgeous and so well-rounded... they sure make me proud! My brother is in kindergarten now and he's the funniest little guy I know- He is Mason's idol and it's really fun to watch them play together.

I am an office manager at Caliber Collision Center in Galveston. I have been working for that company since March of this year and love what I do. I actually feel like a make a difference and I'm learning leadership qualities that are important as well. I have a great working relationship with my coworkers. I wish that I didn't have to work, but since I do I couldn't ask for better people to spend my days with. I have become especially close with my CSR, Shayla and love her like a sister. She's an amazing person with a HUGE heart. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was 19.

I also coach an allstar cheerleading team- Legacy Extreme in Pearland. I've been there since February of 2009 and love my girls like they're my own daughters. I thank God that I was given the opportunity to share my love for cheerleading with young girls. Working 2 jobs is a commitment and sometimes stresses me out, but seeing them succeed and acheive their goals is WAY worth it.

Matt and I are trying for a second (and last) baby and I'm anxious to be pregnant again. I had a great pregnancy with Mason and a good majority of that is attributed to my amazing husband. We are both excited about adding to (and completing) our family. Whether boy or girl, we will be happy. I have to admit, I'd like to have a girl to experience both, but we have had a blast having a little boy around and know that Mason would love a baby brother to get into trouble with.

Whew... That was easier than I thought it would be! I guess I should stop for now- so I have more to talk about later!
